Child Safety Standards

The short version

  1. MySocify has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation.
  2. Such content is removed, the accounts involved are permanently banned, and we report it to the authorities.
  3. You can report it from any post, comment or profile in the app, or by email.
  4. You must be at least 13 to use MySocify.

Our standards

These are the published child safety standards of MySocify, the social app published on Google Play by MySocify. MySocify has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). These standards apply to every account and every piece of content on MySocify, together with our Community Guidelines and Terms of Use.

What is not allowed

  • Child sexual abuse material of any kind, including drawn, animated or AI-generated material, and links to it.
  • Sexualising minors, through images, comments or any other content.
  • Grooming: contacting or building trust with a child in order to abuse or exploit them.
  • Sextortion: pressuring a child for intimate images, or threatening to share them.
  • Trafficking of children, or content that helps it.
  • Asking for, sharing, selling or trading any of the above, or helping someone find it.

What we do

  • We remove the content as soon as we find it or it is reported to us.
  • We permanently ban the accounts involved, without a warning first.
  • We report apparent child sexual exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the relevant law enforcement authorities, and we cooperate with their investigations.
  • We keep the evidence securely, as the law requires.

Reports about child safety are reviewed before anything else.

How to report

  • In the app: open the menu on the post, comment or profile, tap Report, and choose the closest reason.
  • By email: write to support@mysocify.com with “Child safety” in the subject. Describe what you saw and include the username or a link to the post.

Never download, screenshot or forward the material, even to report it. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police first.

Age requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to use MySocify. If we learn that an account belongs to a child under 13, we delete it.
